Yes Bank depositors money is safe: Nirmala Sitharaman

Yes Bank depositors money: The first meeting with Yes Bank began with the Central Government on Friday. Nirmala Sitharaman of the Union’s Home Minister is positive on Yes Bank. 

However, Sitharaman said- Yes Bank account holders that their money is safe and the Reserve Bank is working to swiftly resolve the issues related to Yes Bank. “I am in touch with the Reserve Bank.”  

The central bank controls the matter completely and assured that it will resolve soon. I want to make sure every Yes Bank depositor’s money is safe. “She also said it in the interests of depositors, banks and the economy that this measure.” 

Sitharaman said, “The Governor of the reserve bank has assured me that no Yes Bank customer will suffer any loss. We have full control over this matter.” On Thursday, following consulting by the government, the Reserve Bank banned Yes Bank and immediately dissolved its Management Board.  At the same time, customers of the bank are also prohibited to withdraw up to Rs 50,000 monthly.
