Media shares assorted: The early trend of both Sensex and Nifty reported a bearish trend but after some time it reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The Sensex gained 143.34 points with a 0.40% increase and reached 35,791.52 level. While Nifty gained 28.80 points with a 0.25% increase and 10,478.85 level.

Whereas, the S&P BSE Capital Goods index also reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 11.86 points with a 0.081% decrease and reached a 12,781.62 level.

On the other side, the S&P BSE MidCap lost 34.31 points with a 0.25% decrease and reached 13,520.02 level. The S&P BSE SmallCap gained 11.86 points with a 0.081% decrease and reached a 12,781.62 level.
